Brittney K. Hills, MD, MEd went to medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and surgeons and completed her pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She went on to complete her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. She then completed an advanced cardiac fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in research and acute care cardiology, while obtaining her Master’s in Medical Education. Her research interests are in improving outcomes and reducing health disparities in the pediatric cardiac population and educating the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric cardiologists on congenital heart disease. She hopes to inspire the next generation of pediatric cardiologist to expand their minds to consider non-traditional research avenues such as medical education and quality improvement.
