Kevin Pettit is originally from Illinois and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 2017. Following his general pediatrics residency at the University of Wisconsin, he completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado. In 2023, Dr. Pettit joined the faculty at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) as the institution’s first dedicated acute care cardiologist. In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Pettit is an active member of the CHCO database team with an academic focus on quality improvement. He is also involved in medical education, serving as the pediatric cardiology rotation co-director for University of Colorado residents and medical students.
