Alexandra Birely, APRN, ACCNS-P

Alex Birely grew up in Boston, MA and attended the University of Massachusetts for her undergraduate nursing degree. She began her career in adult medicine and surgery before transitioning to work in the Cardiac ICU at Boston Children’s Hospital. After receiving her MSN as a Clinical Nurse Specialist she worked on the Acute Care Cardiology Unit as a CNS at Boston Children’s Hospital before relocating to Dallas in 2018. She currently works on the Acute Care Cardiology Unit at Dallas Children’s Medical Center with a focus on quality improvement, nursing education and patient safety.
