Dana B. Gal, MD

Dana B. Gal, MD grew up in Berkeley, CA. She attended Wesleyan University for her undergraduate studies and then worked at Boston Children’s Hospital as a study coordinator prior to attending the University of California San Diego for her medical degree. She completed her general pediatrics residency at the University of California San Francisco followed by her categorical cardiology training at Stanford University. She is currently the Advanced Acute Care Cardiology Fellow within the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Gal’s clinical focus is acute care cardiology and she is the co-chair of the Education and Outreach committee. She hopes to use this platform to improve delivery of care to hospitalized children with congenital heart disease.
