My Personal DEI journey
- I grew up in NYC as a first generation Latina with parents who immigrated to the US from Puerto Rico. While I have been fortunate in my personal and professional journeys I have always witnessed structural racism and the health inequities and disparities present in our country. My professional journey has taken me to cities where racism is prevalent in all aspects of society and especially in healthcare. I enjoy traveling and exploring diverse cultures with my husband (from Mexico) and our daughter.
